I looked up an exhibition thats running at the moment. Was thinking of going tomorrow by myself. A ticket for tomorrow is around £50 but if I go on Wednesday or Thursday it is only £18........couldnt believe the difference in price just because its valentines day

It probably is , anything or anytime people can make extra money at other people's expense they do ..hotels .. flights..you name it. They nail it .

Why do something because society has decided you MUST shower your significant other with commercial rubbish as a token of love on a specific day each year? Should be showing that affection daily with consideration for the other person.

Cool, this thread just reminded me of both Valentine's and pancake Tuesday in which case, I'll forget about Valentine's again and move pancakes ahead so I get to enjoy them with the children
