So ...I've been thinking about hosting some people here at mine,for some dwinks and chats and generally providing a safe private place were people can meet and wax lyrical ...simply because I can !!!

Has anyone done this before , how do you navigate the seemingly ubiquitous pitfalls and events that may occur and possibly ruining the night for everyone (ya know what I mean )....you'd nearly need to know everyone , so what's the point in that ....??

Suggestions / feedback/ interest welcome....

It depends on what you'd expect to happen from this, if it's a social only then invite people who have been social verified. But if you plan on it being a party then invite people who enjoy the party experience

Invite a few you know … and ask them if they know of any nice ppl they’d like to invite and can vouch for them from having previously met them and know they’re sound and good craic also would be interested depending on date etc

Not a bad suggestion Hotass...I'm certainly not trying provide a play venue...connection is EVERYTHING ,play could and can happen anywhere the playmates choose obviously but Ie found after texting here months sometimes that within a few seconds of meeting someone you KNOW its a go or a no ... maybe I'm just a dreamer , but I'm not the only one ... Only invite those that you know and get on well with each other by that l mean that they are comfortable in their company, if you invite people you don't know you run the risk of the opposite happening and when a person invites people to their house, above everything , they want it to go well.
