Well a change from the normal any chance of a ride message.

I recently had to put my 15 year old dog down.

I don't suppose anyone knows of any doberman pups available on the island of Ireland.

I have no problem adopting a pup, but not many available. mostly older dogs of questionable history.

With a pup you can train it, you never know what trauma or triggers an older dog may have. Quite a number of tragic situation recently with rescue dogs especially involving visiting children.

I am very capable of handling dogs and have had many large and powerful dogs in my life (usually the most loyal and gentle) the bad tempered biters are usually small dogs. But I have also taken in some dogs that people could not handle or had a bad experience with and know how that can go very wrong very quickly especially when someone new to them comes into the property. They can see them as a threat or they can be very jealous. In my younger days I lived miles away from anyone so was not a problem but I have neighbour these days .

A lot of Of UK Rescues are happy to rehome in Ireland. And many have toys with rescues in Ireland because in the UK they have breathed specific rescue centers..
