Jacinda Ardern's resignation as Prime Minister of New Zeland is a big shock. Pragmatism personified.

We could do with a practical and courageous leader like her.

I must say I admired this lady's stance on a lot of issues.

I think she sent a bit of a shock through the policitcal establishment around the world at times with her approach - especially the old boys clubs.

Her way of stepping aside is no different and I admire her for it.
