Do you read threads from the end?

Curious to know does anybody else do this?

The problem with this approach is the constant scrolling up to see who people are replying to.

But I prefer reading long threads in this way, weird. Mrs

I honestly don't bother with a lot of threads that get up to 100+ replies. It seems IMO that that are usually arguments by that stage and people nitpicking at replies.

But sure they're the best threads

Yes, to cut to the chase and see if it's disintegrated into the usual wall of copy and paste, don't have time for that with my advancing years

This ....just read the last few new lines

Sometimes you can tell who wrote it before you scroll up

I've just scan-skip read the jealousy thread (from the top) . Fab sometimes reminds me of Eastenders, the ever same protagonists, rotating partnering, and loads of drama

Some threads are like Kaleidoscope on Netflix. Can be read in any order and always the same outcome.

Always know who has written some responses and start the eyerolling before seeing the profile name.

That's always a sign I'm not in the clique

I used to read from the beginning but now only read the original post to see what the full question post is.

Now I go by the topic and generally ignore most.

Sorry!!!

Somewhere in Co. Down

Sometimes I do especially if it's a long thread and I read some of it before.

Yeah I think that's it. I've read some of it already and now checking if the thread has gone off on a tangent or if it's still the same shite.

Why do some people continously quote reply, multiple repeated quote replies?

You've to scroll half the thread to see their one line reply.

Tidy it up lads!

That is a pet peeve of mine. Especially when they just add an emoji after it. But ah well, no real harm.

I'm guilty of reading threads backwards but if there are too many reply + quotes I lose interest

I'll start reading from the top to get the gist of the thread. If the scroll bar at the side is tiny then I'll jump to the bottom, read the last few replies and add in my two cents if needed

Yeah I do it too. Read original post of a title which caught my interest then jump to oldest post and scroll back… not always reading all though just skimming through Time is short!
