Hey all, me and some friends are planning on visiting Galway. Been many generations since I last visited.

So asking the locals, or people who have visited recently, any suggestions on fun things to do while there?

i travel all over

Great pubs , restaurants , cafes, escape rooms , zip it obstacle courses, sailing , rowing , places to shop , wilderness in Connemara to see , people watching to do in shop street , you name it. Just don’t expect to put up a meet and get offers . It’s a place where you need to work on meets over a long period of time IMO

When are ye planning to come? Do ye want outdoor activities or just pubs and restaurants?

Next weekend.

Bit of both.

The person who decided they will plan it looks like they are winging it. We plan to do some activities and later hit the pubs.

I may just suggest that, thanks.

So long as it's not too far. Don't fancy carrying people back long distance.
