Limerick

We have a few years of attending Fab parties 'under our belts'

and have had great times with wonderful people.

However, there's one thing that I feel is often missing and that I would like to see more of and that is intimacy/kissing/sensuality (3 things but one in the same).

Usually with 'straight' liaisons, the 'repertoire' is limited to oral and penetration and when these are all that's on offer, I get bored and drier than the Sahara! I ask for a kiss but for the seasoned swingers (bar a few) they are just not into it I find!

For anyone who has ever been to a Fab party, did you notice this? Did you miss it? Is there anything else you feel is missing at parties?

We are kind of in two places about this, himself like you needs the kissing, it gets him going and allows him to get into it, for me I dont like kissing other men, women are fine just not men other than himself, I'll kiss him all day, just never felt I needed it and to me men at the partys are just an extra toy, I know that might be wrong to say but that's how I have always seen it

Only ever been to one party a few years ago and there was no kissing involved.

In saying that everyone else there apart from me were long term friends who went on holiday together and had actually helped build the house the party was held in so while they were happy to have sex with each other, kissing probably wasn't a requirement.

In a one to one situation I wouldn't meet anyone who didn't kiss as it's important to create and determine intensity.

I seam to be the odd one out, from my experience women always needed the kissing more than men, they might want it but when it boils down to the actual fun if it's not there they still enjoy themselves just as much, that's just my experience though

But I do agree. I do find some people are a bit weird about kissing..they say it's too intimate which I laugh at at a swing party..I think kissing is a great gauge of things to come...if the kissing isn't great then I doubt anything else will be.....You know me I'm all about the kissing!! It's such a turn on.

Thanks all for the insights

Parties and private meets tend to go differently; much more intimacy in a private meet. The majority so far have said that kissing is a must, however that has not been our experience in the main at parties so I can only assume that those preferring the 'limited repertoire'

are staying quiet on the matter! Would love to hear some opinions from those people.

Plus to clarify, we do love oral and penetration, but only as part of the overall picture. The more varied the night, the better fun it is for everyone!

In a group situation, I wouldn't feel like I'd missed out if there was no kissing. It's not essential for me in a group. I'd go as far as to say that kissing someone other than my other half on the lips isn't essential for me at all in any scenario.

It's perfectly possible for me to have hot, steamy AND sensual sexual encounters without kissing someone on the lips when there are so many other erogenous zones to be explored.

I think people imagine sex without kissing to be just sticking a penis in a vagina but it really doesn't have to be. It's only quite recently that I've kissed others during our meets. Up until then I only kissed himself. Trust me, there was nothing cold or mechanical about any of our pre-kissing encounters

I have to say I have never experienced that myself… kissing is super important for me, sensuality, teasing… I need that to fully get in the mood and I find sex is much more intense with this. I have always been lucky enough to find partners who enjoyed it too…

That said I have witnessed the straight to sex or oral approach with others… so as I said maybe I have been lucky.

You absolutely must only do what you feel comfortable with, and never feel pressurised by what others are doing. This is your swinging journey - you set the pace. If some aren't happy with your boundaries then they're not for you, plenty of others will be. And as I said up there, not kissing others on the lips never had a negative impact on our experiences when that was something I didn't want to do.

Third times a charm….

As I said in previous post we are not overly experienced and new to all this but I think we feel the same as this, To us it’s important to keep something to ourselves and we think that will be kissing, certainly any sort of passionate or intimate kiss… maybe need to see how it goes first and then rule it out…
