When does everyone take down there tree and decorations.

Me normally on the 6th Jan this year they will be taken down on the 2nd

My town

Not till after the 6th, my mother was always adament not before, I think cause the one year she did take them down early, her dad died the 7th she always said it was bad luck before the 6th

They have to be up for New Year's but down before Nollaig na mBan, that's the rule in our house!

Generally be whatever weekend or free evening we have in between, but no specific date.

Ya, we are the same. Definitely like them up for New Year's Eve, but take down before the kids go back to school "

I've got more important priorities than Christmas decorations this year, but I did buy three delicious Christmas cakes from Lidl and three puddings; the quality was unbeatable!

If I had children in my home, of a certain age, I would do the whole package but living alone it's not worth the hassle.
