Won't get to any of the away matches, even Cardiff is a bit of a stretch unfortunately, but hoping I can pull in a favour or two to get to England or France in Lansdowne Road !

Fingers crossed by Paddy's Weekend we'll have a championship decider on our hands

Totally agree? It’s the best, most exciting time off the year. Such a brilliant annual tournament

Can’t wait, hoping to get a ticket for England in Aviva

But nothing 100% yet

If you happen to hear off 1 going, let me please

I enjoy the 6 nations, but not gone on commentators on Virgin media.

Listening to the matches on RTE Radio 1 is sometimes better. Have not been to a match in years

We do miss the punditry on RTE it was a hell of a lot better than what we have now. As we are facing into a world cup year also and Ireland are peeking as is the norm, are we setting ourselves up for more failures given the expectations we have? Personally we would rather see Ireland ranked no. 2 in the world so to manage those expectations.

We are no doubt the best team in the world right now and the 6 nations will cement that allocade.

France will definitely test us, but we do have the home advantage this time round.

And as always, The Beast Peter O' Mahony will be giving a considerable amount of players at the breakdown a serious headache

Wish they would do away with the Ireland's call thing though, we have a national anthem already and we are certainly shouting it at the tops of our voices come the best time of the year.

C'mon Ireland!!

Yes hate Ireland call no need for it.

Interesting to see how we get on in World Cup. Is it in France in September.

We should be hosting it.

"Yes hate Ireland call no need for it.

We don't have enough stadiums fit for a world cup be it rugby or soccer.. Realistically all Ireland has is the Aviva and Croke Park to chose from, a joint bid with the UK would be successful at least we could host a few games

Reply privatelyReply in forumReply +quote

What are we realistically aiming for at this World Cup though?

To the statement of stadia, we have PUC in Cork also, and even though they may not be "World Cup" there is also Thurles, Thomand Park to name but a few and we did a bid for the current one that was awarded to France but just fell short, but we are in a much better position now to contend for the next one certainly.

On another note the television rights, we believe are up for grabs and there is a possibility that the games may be pay per view, similar to the Heineken Cup and if this is the case we would expect far better coverage for our buck.

The opening match is going to be a belter though the hosts v All Black's, what a way to start a weekend of naughtyness

We will hopefully have tickets for the England game. Can't wait, love the 6 nations buzz. I work for UK company based in Wales with colleagues from across all 6 countries. The craic in the build up to the games is always fantastic.

Ireland would certainly be the team to beat in the 6 nations this year, extra spice going into 1st game as 1 of us is Irish and the other is Welsh

Gets very interesting in our household

Could the 6 nations finally have Italy beat England?

England are the only team in the 6 nations which Italy have yet to beat and with Mr.Jones after departing and on the back of Italy beating a Tier 1 team in the autumn internationals, namely Australia, could this be a more interesting 6 nations?

Definitely the horniest time of the year, roll on Feb and I'll be murdered for this but the only thing that matters in February

I haven’t been to millennium stadium yet so maybe 2 years time, fingers crossed

Well we for 1 think Andy is and has done a great job, Mr. Scmidth did say he was the right man for the job

Anyway, a month of wins means a month of sexual rewards that's the way we think about it anyway

And we are definitely open to celebrating with others

Down with that sort of thing, careful now

Would folks from Cork be interested in a social in the city for a game?

Or perhaps an orgy of socials for all the games?

Ireland for a grand slam this year, get to the betting shops. Ye can thank us personally in the bedroom
