There is actually tonnes of action but not through visiting and putting up a meet. It just takes a lot of time to know people

The scene is quite enough here as the city regardless of what we think is still small so very much get to know you better rather then quick meets best of luck with it

We thought it was just us. We definitely get the feeling that Galway is too small. Put up several meets in Galway but wouldn’t be doing so again. Waste of time. If we do meet in Galway it will be through private arrangements, probably with people not from Galway. But it’s a great city for the craic xxx

I think people in their local area avoid meeting in their local area. Even the thought of hosting a social in sligo or even within 40 miles of sligo would have me stressing. And I know couples from the area who never meet locally.

Galway is a great spot to go out in though

Totally agree. First social we went to we met two couples we knew. Completely took the wind out of our sails. Would definitely prefer to go to socials far, far away
