I have to say not he wasn't my favourite performer. When "Ghost Town" got to #1 the Specials were booked to appear on "Top of the Pops". In the dressing room just before the recording he announced to the rest of the band that he, Staple and Golding were leaving the band to form Fun Boy Three. As you can imagine, the band's performance was a bit subdued. Not good timing.

We were due to see them in Belfast during the summer, now there'll never be another chance

Enjoy Yourself is my favourite song of theirs.

They did some great collaborations with Amy Winehouse too.

With the abuse he suffered as a child it's no wonder he was miserable! Have a listen to "Well fancy that"! Pure genius is a very good description of him!
