Why people uses filters on this site? I mean, what's the point of showing an edited picture instead of a genuine one?

Why do people post multiple close-up screen-filling photos of their cocks on this site?

Oh yeah, because people can post what they like on their own profiles.

As with all things, spend less time worrying about the profiles who don't meet your requirements and enjoy interacting with those who do

Not at all. I just think people's experiences on Fab would be much improved if they spent less time mithering about profiles that are obviously incompatible with what they're looking for.

Too young, too old, too fat, too thin, too straight, too bi, too hairy, too smooth, and on and on ad infinitum.

Would have to agree , people are here for their own fun & enjoyment not others, filters are used by them for their reasons , simple really.

Surely the point of the original OP is that having filters on your photos is dishonest and counter productive to anyone you attempt to meet up as you do not look like your photo.

That valid complaint can never be made if you just photo a normal and honest photo.

Somewhere in Co. Down

I use colour filters and sometimes blur the background on mine .I don't change my body as I don't see the point in doing that.

But yes it happens on here where people edit pics so it looks nothing like them, the same as using pics from years ago as recent or using other peoples pics as theirs as well as taking pics from the net. Sometimes the edited ones are really easy to spot.Like everything else on here if you see it and it's not for you easiest thing is to move on to a profile you do like.

And my point remains. Its pretty easy to spot an edited photo. Therefore it's equally easy to avoid those you feel are representing themselves in a way that deceives

I don't understand your point ..filters just change the colour...I use them all the time...as I love b&w pics..or a colour pop for example.

Filters don't change your body shape...it's still my body in the pics

There's way more than color filters out there, filters you can get rid of any blemish and cellulite, filters that smoothens your whole appearance, even filters that make you look younger or your taille look slimmer etc.

Only thing we use filters for is covering tattoos. Don’t get why people of any sexual orientation would use any other kind of filter as if meet in person it’s going to show pics aren’t the whole truth.

Ah jeez why would you bother... especially if you going to meet people in the future! Lumps and bumps are normal.

Dublin west

I have seen a number of people using filters to make them look younger or completely different in here, but it is widespread also on the dating apps, so I guess it's just something we have to put up with.

Have met several girls who look little or nothing like their filtered profile pics, and spotting the filters can be very difficult sometimes.

North West, Outer Letterkenny area

Only filter I'd use is colour filter. It's still me, but I might be green or red. if I have one with a blue hue, I doubt the person expects me to turn up like a smurf.
