i travel all over

What songs are really underrated ? Which ones do you think are truly bad ?

I don’t think a spaceman came travelling gets enough recognition, although the singer is a bit of a buffoon otherwise . 2000 miles also.

I wish it would be Christmas by wizzard is just awful .

The whole band aid project was fucked up for many reasons but the song was a banger! It still sounds good to me!

Solid choices!

Imma add in Silent Night by Andrea Bocelli as well as Silent Night, Christmas 1915 by Jerry Lynch as well.

There's a stack more I could go on with.

"Love driving home for Christmas and fairytale of new York"

Like this, but less impressed with the 'edited' version.

I know if was edited so as to not hurt peoples feelings but to me it just sounds wrong from my old memories of the song.

Youghal

Spaceman

2000 miles

Carol of the Bells

An obscure one is Dan Fogelberg, Same Old Lang Syne, a bit depressing though

Portstewart

I really don’t listen to the radio too much in December as I get thoroughly scunnered listening to Christmas songs keep it for this week to try and enjoy it more. I happened to be on classic fm (mother had been using my car) this morning and there was a great classical cover of fairytale of New York on while taking the kids to school.

I love Pipes of Peace by Paul McCartney. Wonderful Christmas time gets all the attention but I'm not fond of it
