Can i ask the fab faithful if there are other people out there who find christmas a bit....

What do people do when your bored and sick of a 60's bond or indiana jones.

Each to their own, I've always struggled at Xmas but as I've got older, I'm embracing the simple things about it, making memories with family and friends, as none of us know who won't be here next xmas

Its an oppertunity to catch up alright, but my bloody crowd are all away so its myself, dustin the turkey and a bottle of hendricks.

I dont think i struggle with xmas but i think a change from the norm would be nice.

I used to enjoy Christmas a lot more before. But the last ten years or so it's just lost a lot of its appeal. Mainly because I work most of it anyhow so it never feels like there's time to relax and enjoy it. I'm off Christmas day this year though and we have decided to make this year special and all the family are going to be together for Christmas day so I'm going to make the most of it and enjoy the day and even the old christmas movies.

I'm indifferent to Christmas other than enjoying having the bank holidays off work. I pretty much carry on with my normal routine.

I love Christmas. Its just before the end of the year and a time to take stock,appreciate what you have and prepare for a new year and new hopes. I think alot of people are in much better form around Christmas but equally I know a good few who struggle at Christmas and hate December because of it. Personally i do like it and am like a big child at Christmas.

I haven't enjoyed Christmas since I was a child and even back then had a few reasons to dislike it.

All it has ever meant to me is longer working hours to make up for the couple of days off and for more than 2 decades I only had Christmas Day off and spent it exhausted and miserable.

Far too many unhappy memories with the loss of so many wider family members during the months of December and January that I do everything humanly possible to avoid anything Christmas related.

If that makes me Scrooge like then so be it but I don't really care at this stage.

This year is all change as the family won't be meeting in my parents as normal on christmas day so we're all out for dinner 2 days beforehand

I head out early on Christmas morning to deliver food and treats to homeless people in shelters and old people alone.....Ive done it for the last couple of years and its very enjoyable...best part of the day....

Each to their own as everyone approach 's Christmas in their own way and as always that has to be respected, to me it's a reflective time , lm not one bit materialistic and to me the most precious gift you can give is your time, when a person gives you their time it's priceless.

Personally there is good and bad.

I do love the look one peoples faces of surprise or delight when they open a gift I got them.

For those who cannot meet up I d plan to face time, the ones not working, just to wish them the best.

Christmas is essentially a special day for very young children; when the kids go out on their new bikes it brings a smile to my face.

As I usually have a busy daily schedule, Xmas day itself is a great time to charge the battery.

I don't waste time on Xmas decorations or a tree, but I already have a couple of excellent Christmas puds bought in to enjoy between Xmas and the new year.

I was brought up in London after leaving Ireland 71 lived in London and my father was very honest and said don’t spoil it for neighbours kids but there is no such thing as Santa , I have always worked Xmas day and look forward to the new year’s holiday

We go away on a city break stephen's day and come back the new year its great you get to see new places vist a few clubs maybe have a bit of fun . It beats going out getting hammered 4 days in a row.
