somewhere

Anyone on fab actually run an Airbnb that they let out to other fabbers....

The usual problems with Hotel accommodation...check in from 3 or 4 and leave by 11.00 am the next morning ....so not a full day

Day use hotels are in Dublin and Belfast ....haven't found anything in between

Be nice over the winter to have other options on the East Coast

This might have an obvious answer cause I've never actually used Air bnb, but why does it have to be a fellow fabber. Can't your select am option to hire out entire places?

Yeah but its the same as a hotel....check in late and book out early

If you want to meet early in the morning for a full day you nearly need the airbnb for 2 days

i travel all over

A lot of hotels do early check ins and late checkouts

Basically as early as noon available and as late as 2pm. That’s 26 hours at some extra cost rather than say 19

There used to be a lady here who rented out a room by the hour. She was on the northside. I'm not sure if she's still active here though.

I’ve stayed in most a good few airport hotels and they do an early check in some from 10am. There are loads around the airport you could try but you need to ring them, it won’t be on their site.

Remember checking into a hotel in Gardiner street in the 80's and being asked did I want it over night or by the hour

Airbnb would be perfect as you could stay overnight

If you book a day use hotel and use it till 5pm and ask to stay they then charge the full nightly rate on top of the day rate you've just used which is a pain in the arse

There’s a Maldron near me that goes from 10 til 7. A little more palatable.

Its inconvenient alright, some airbnbs are flexible with checkout if they've no-one checking in, often the case on Sundays

wouldn't you like to know

I've messaged air bnb owners before and asked for day use. Some say no, some say yes. I even have one who gave me her number to book directly with her at a cheaper rate.

Some are glad to make some money mid week if not fully booked.

Cost nothing to ask nicely and so far only got very nice replies.

And to top it, more private than hotel and cheaper too....
