I keep getting contacted by someone who I block every time he messages me. His username doesn't seem to change that I can see, yet his messages are getting through.

I've reported him to admin a few times but I dunno if they are doing anything. I'd hidden my profile for about a month and when I unhid it, he reappeared.

Does anyone know how to deal with this spammer? It's getting quite creepy now.

Have you tried not only reporting them via the message but also blocking via this. I understand that you've mentioned that you do block but still them able to message you

Can he delete his account and the sign up with the same username to get around the ban? I don't know the answer to that but might be the reason.

If you report a profile then you automatically get blocked from each other and cant message each other as far as I know

If you've blocking via message or have done via the drop down menu. Try again via the message might be a glitch then see if they show up in your block list

That's what I am thinking he is doing, but you shouldn't be able to use a username that was being used previously, surely?

I don't block in two places, I mean i have used both depending on which time I blocked him. He is definitely in my block list and this time I went via his profile to block him rather than via the message option.

Everytime you see his messages just delete them unread don't even open them. He will eventually get bored and stop messaging. If he keeps making new accounts this might be your only option. Use your filters as well to stop new people and any other filters you can think to stop the messages as well if you want.

People like that are just pests.

If you still have any of the messages, I'd send another report via this and explain that you've blocked them but still receive messages and maybe bit more information info of their conducted

Remember it's the weekend but admin can be busy but trust me will look into this

A similar thing happened me a few years ago and I ended up deleting my profile for nearly a year.

When I opened a new profile, the same person messaged me several times, but I ignored them.

Never hear from him now, though I am very cautious of newbies who send messages. Makes you a tad paranoid!!!

Amazing how there are men who won't take no for an answer, I've had many women reject me here with sorry not interested or no thanks messages and I always give a respectful response like no harm done or best of luck and leave it at that, worst thing you could ever do is send repeat messages become verbally abusive or worse when you are blocked create another profile to harass her again. No means no, man up and accept it.

The main thing is don't start a thread about it cause that's jusy giving the reaction the person is looking for.

Like others have said above delete the message unread and just block each time.

Yes you can and I know a certain member who constantly does this - makes profile, meets, deletes, restarts with same name. It's completely bizarre. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about it personally, but I would keep reporting as someone remaking accounts to get past a block.

Dose he dissappear from block list when he messages u again ... people dissappear from lists when they delete account ...
