We’re intrigued by all the recent status’s relating to trips to Gran Canaria/ PDI. We’d be more interested in the Irish take - reviews and recommendations - than reading about it in Spanish forum. Looking forward to reading more here from those in the know.

Most posting in the Spain group are from the UK but you'll find a few Irish posting about PDI there too.

We are heading there next sunday the 4th , so looking forward to it , its been a few years since we were last there , seems alot of new clubs opened up ,looking forward to trying them out

We go there every year and have done for years, ever before getting into the scene. Love the gay bars as much as the swinger scene. A very laid back place, great beaches, fun in the dunes, great clubs and sunshine. What more could you want

Swinger hotels would be Venus star and mirage but the likes of Greenfield's and gold as well as some others have naked bathing areas. The Cita Centre have the most swinger bars and clubs under one roof but there are plenty more elsewhere.

Have loads of fun when you go.

Well we going second week in Jan and did check out all the Spanish forums, they a great help. Loads of English imput and some Irish.but a solely Irish review page would be great we think. We settled on hl suites Hotel based on Irish recommendation s

No naked sunbathing in Gold, unfortunately, unless it's on your own terrace. It's still our favourite hotel though and in the perfect location.

HL Suites was my choice last month when I was there

Clean,comfortable rooms,great showers,fantastic nude roof terrace,decent food and easy to walk to cita and yumbo centers.

I'm definitely going back next year

Get as close as you can to cita and that's about it really

Totally agree I've never stayed in the Swing resorts...some amazing hotels in PDI and great deals no need really to stay in the swing resorts.

There are plenty of great tips in the Spanish forums...and plenty of Irish people there all the time!

Anywhere near Cita is perfect as near all the clubs and bars. Yumbo is great for a night out too. Get to the Dunes or Cafe Del Mar in Melonoras! Everywhere so cheap and guaranteed sun....best times to go March/April and Oct/Nov.

Well worth a trip. Gang of us going to Gold in March cannot wait

We have been to pdi a few months back for the first time and would definatly rate it best holiday yet . We plan on making it a regular visit . We stayed in the dunamar hotel right on the beach it was a really nice hotel . Will definatly book again highly recommended

Good choice we were there in October it’s a fantastic hotel with naked sunbathing area on roof top food was great and tasty cocktails. Enjoy
