2nd mass shooting in 2 days, 606th this year for USA. This time a employee walked into to his walmart shot 10.

At what point will someone risk their career in politics and say laws need to change.

I am a fan of shooting, range days, hunting etc.. but a man or woman has no need for military grade firearm or ammo for that sport.

Nor is it right......must be 21 buy a beer but sure 18 can walk in get a gun

Portstewart

Any proper details been released about it yet or is it just the usual mass confusion in the immediate after effects of the event. Don't get me wrong the loss of life is terrible but America is not the only country in which this has or will happen its just easier to get legal firearms there

Limerick, Clare, Tipperary

Yep, mental.

...and down here one can't buy live yeast, because one could make a bomb out of it.

Extreme from the opposite side of the scale.

City Centre, Dublin

Gonna take a guess and assume the shooter is white therefore it’ll not be classed as terrorism

They probably just need more guns to counteract the guns being used in mass shootings

Here we go again like groundhog day and nothing will be done about it, the right to bear arms is enshrined in the US constitution, this goes back to the days of wild west when "bad guys" killed the good guys, fast forward hundreds of years and it's the same scenario, the so called bad guy kills the good guys and the only way a bad guy with a gun can be defeated is a good guy with a gun, God bless America a country founded upon bloodshed, we hear the same generic response from authorities after each shooting "we need to come together as a nation to defeat this evil" its all too predictable.. I'm no advocate for gun control, I think everybody should have a gun if you are a good responsible citizen that pays your taxes then why not, why should your freedom be restricted because some nutcase can't be a responsible gun owner, this is the parodox the US is presented with...

Absolutely the only way a satanic killer with gun can be defeated is a good guy with a gun
