If you were arrested with no explanation, what would your friends and family assume you had done?

Mine would KNOW it was a wrongful arrest and how DARE the Garda make such a mistake . Actually - that's just my parents - the rest would think that I've finally been done for hoarding massive amounts of chocolate - I'd be the first in and the last out if that was a criminal offence Mrs

Speeding.

My brake pads went a few months ago, and I was trying to describe the noise to my ex. I’m like… it’s really noisy when I’m driving slow. He replies “it’s probably in shock at being driven slow”

Newry Down

My friends would know it was for ethical white knight hacking of computer systems to expose blatant injustice and hypocrisy; the charges would then be dropped and media would do a favourable expose of motivation to right wrongs

I think the assumptions of my friends and family would range from tax evasion/embezzlement to murder, and many things in between….

I hate when they’re right…..

Probably assume someone took me too serious and called the Garda.

One would assume money laundering as they have constantly made the joke.

Family would assume mistaken identity, they got the wrong man, honest
