Hey folks,

Just a quick one here but I'm going to be visiting a friend of mine in Malahide tomorrow afternoon and staying the night so just wondering what bars you would recommend for food & drinks and is there anywhere with live music?

Bar food or restaurant food? Bar food is good in Fowler's,nice atmosphere too. Beer is shite and too expensive in Gibneys but it's a good atmosphere. Similar in Wright's but full of gobshites. There's usually a guy sings in Wright's on a Friday and he's excellent. For restaurant food you're spoilt for choice.. can't go wrong with Sale Pepe though!! Enjoy the stay wherever you end up.

I've always liked Cougar Town (Gibert n Wright's lounge bar)

For food Kajjal's is a fab, I like the Greenery too.

Greenery is very good but apparently is closing earlier.

Sale n Pepe is cozy and nice food

I’d say Fish&shack beside Fowlers has a lovely fish&chips

If you are into italian, Al Fresco is a good choice.

Spent a lot of time in malhide a few years ago , heading back there on the 2 of 12 for a night out , great place
