Dublin

I hear the Grand is a hot spot currently (actually, that's a joke, of rather poor taste and not open for tourism).

There's lots to do in this beautiful county... between beach walks, forests and hiking in the hills. The promenade in Wicklow, Greystones, Bray, Britta's Bay, the seacliff walk, Avondale has a new attraction which I hear is awesome (haven't tried it yet), Devils Glen, Sugar loaf, Sally Gap...there's plenty of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants... there's Wicklow Gaol, Bray Sealife, Bray has a theatre (the mermaid) if you want to check out shows, Glendalough, Powerscourt House and Gardens, national botanic gardens in Kilmacurragh...

Enjoy Mrs

Newry Down

The seacliff walk between Bray and Greystones is closed because a landslide blocked the path; but you can go up over Bray Head, although the route from Bray is muddy, rocky and treacherous after rain.

Try to access from Vevay Road, instead out near Kilruddery House.

On a clear day, the view from the cross up on Bray Head is fantastic; in fact it is amazing, north and south.

Bring binoculars, if poss.

somewhere

Depends on the budget for accommodation to be honest but a huge amount to see if you like the outdoors

Glendalough is my favorite place when Im on my own just walking around the lakes

Then driving home across the mountains really epic day out

Greystones for a walk with the dog or visit Glenroe and a walk on the beach nearby

Powerscourt waterfall,The Avoca shop or The powerscourt hotel

beautiful county. I brought kids to avondale during the summer. awesome place but you'd really want a head for heights. think it's closed for winter though.
