Since we now know that Ukraine fired these missiles, does that mean under article 5 of the nice treaty that nato declares war on Ukraine???

I hope not much. To me it looks like a rogue missile and it should be treated as such.

The loss of life through arms is tragic and unnecessary - may they rest in peace - but unfortunately part of war.

No... because it wasn't an "attack" on Poland, it was a failed attempt to intercept an incoming Russian missile. Ukraine didn't attack anyone.

Hopefully the war ends soon, Putin fired more rockets again after another defeat. It is a terrible war like all wars

It isn't any comfort to the friends and families of the people accidentally killed, but in times of war the term applied to deaths of this type is:

Collateral damage.

A horrible phrase, but this is how these deaths are classified!

And regrettably, these won't be the last in this conflict.
