So I've just read a status that basically says anyone who attends a social are dirty rotten people, rude, filthy and so far up themselves. If that's how someone feels about swingers why be on this site?

So anyone that's not a swinger is what ?

It always sounds like sour grapes to me when I read updates like that on here. The same as any updates that rants about others on here or how they do their fab life.

It's just a little sad and pathetic really and the only thought I give people who do them is either a note or a block.There is no point in getting annoyed or pissed off over it but look at it as an easy way to avoid people who I won't have anything in common with. They are usually the ones who turn abusive when told no as well so it's handy to see and avoid.

In saying that they really have as much right to be on the site as anyone else has. They may not have a lot of luck etc but no one has a right to say they don't belong here. Fab as far as I can see has a wide variety of people all looking for different things on here.

I don't think I really fall under the swinger title myself if I'm honest so if it's just for 'real'swingers than a lot of us should go if that was the case.But I'm happy enough doing my own thing on here and yes I do go to socials when I can and I've no intention of leaving here anytime soon .

Same I see myself as the least swinger swinger going but I enjoy the social side of nights out.

Have to say I'm not annoyed I just think it's funny, and true we all have our reasons to be here and use the site as we see fit just don't judge other peoples use of here.

In a way agree some socials can be very difficult to talk to people. Some are rude a polite hello wouldn't go astray.

However I don't acknowledge people like that or the ones you are talking about be it in the swinging community or outside of it life is to short for that. thankfully over the years in the UK - France - Ireland and Germany I've found people quite friendly so I don't understand what the status is actually aimed at because the Irish over all the nationalities I've met are the best and always up for a good time be it socials or XXX rated lol

You state that this status is referring to "social event going fabbers" . Thats not the same as referring to all stingers at all

When will people relax and realise that opinions are individual. It doesn't mean others think it. Not everyone agrees with others and that's ok. I'm sure unpopular daft opinions will attract certain types and other types will run from those people.

I get what your saying I just thoughtvthe status was funny and only person it will effect is him. Everyone here for different reasons and use the site differently and majority of people let people enjoy fab fir what they want and not shame others on how they use it.

I guess I just thought the status was funny and wondered do other people think thats what social attending fabbers are like.

No more than I met fellow fabbers for a social coffee at weekend and had 2 separate messages asking what hotel was I staying in and would there be fucking?

Think majority of coffee shops in Ireland frown on that kind of carry on

I am not a swinger DD and not been to a wee social yet,i don't know what that makes me in the eyes of the hierarchy lol.I've chatted to some lovely people on here but just not got around to a coffee meet or whatever as most of yees are down south .

I've been to a few socials and like most gathering there will be a mix of people who are approachable and down to earth and those who are rude and ignorant but that's not unique to fab.

There are people who are lovely in messages but completely cnuts in person and I'm sure there are bellends on the forums who are lovely face to face but I haven't come across any of those yet.

Far too much emphasis put on what others do or how they choose to use the site but that's how life is really.

For some people it's an obsession while for others it's a hobby.

Obviously you're an sti ridden hure, gross town bike with skewed morals for daring to have a drink and a dance with other filthy, disgusting, creepy perververts in a public bar!

You should be going out with no knickers on, picking up complete random strangers, having unprotected half arsed one night stands with them and never see a gum clinic - just like respectable vanilla people do!

Think that's more a problem with whoever said that! It's more likely someone who doesn't know how to be nice and chatty and loves a wee drink and some banter cause that's mostly what happens at socials...I think personally this person is rude,so far up themselves and has been turned away from social events because of their so called attitude because word gets about...

Socials are for nice friendly people maybe the issue is them!! Need to take a closer look at themselves
