Is it just me, or are people that go by looks alone a bit shallow ?? I know there has to be an attraction otherwise there's no point, but there is sooooooo much else that makes a woman sexy and desirable than her looks......

I agree that looks are not as important as personality. For me if a guy can make me laugh, has a good sense of humour, can flirt and can make me want him.....looks are way down the list. Its not all about looks, its about the buzz between the 2 peoples and how good looking a person is doesn't decide if that will be there or not!

Dont have any problem with that, physical attraction is what this site is about. However as others have said, personality can be a significant factor in how 'attractive' they find someone. However it depends on the individual, we are all different after all.

I always like to get along with someone first on here, in mail, in chat etc and I think its fantastic if we can have a laugh together - after all life is too short to take yourself too seriously.

Sexual attraction is about more than just looks even though usually the first thing you ask yourself is "do we like the way they look". After the initial opinion it is amazing how more or less strongly you are attracted to them. As usual in these forums I think the answer is somewhere in between. Even 'just' in a sex site you need to have an attraction both physically and a little emotionally. Even for the briefest of meets you still say a few words and the best fun is when you've chatted and flirted a bit with someone first, in which case you need to have compatable personalities. Maybe the 'beauty queens' and the 'Geordie shore 6 packers' connect in both respects which is grand, long as everyone's happy and there's no insulting when refusing or being refused then why not? Personally I find a dirty girl beats a princess hands down (literally!)

Everyone on here is looking for something different and I don't think there will ever be 'one type' that suits everyone. What I find attractive mightn't be what others find attractive but sure that life! Personally I don't go for the 'David Beckham' pretty boy type as I find intelligent conversation a real turn on...(no offense meant David if your reading this lol). Surely there are enough 'types' on here to suit everyone....but for me there does need to be an attraction.....and the stimulation of the mind matters more than visual stimulation to a large degree....just my opinion!

Like it or not, physical attraction is all you have to go on when you INITIALLY look at someone''s profile.

Next you read the profile words, but they can be skilfully edited to hit all the right 'competencies.'

Then you send the message, and let's face it, you will try to be as eloquent as possible much like a door to door sales man getting his foot in the door. If you're lucky you get an encouraging reply, and so it goes until you actually arrange a face to face. Only then will both of your personalities shine through and only then will a woman decide whether you're gonna get anywhere.

A face / body pic will let you see if you are likely to be physically attracted / attractive, but it all boils down to that first 10-15 minute chat.

Face pics do sometimes out the ppl u don't want to meet and its a good way of seeing who u r talkn to, we have met a few with no face pics before n had a ball, would we do it again?
