i travel all over

Between Galway and cork . There has to be an epicentre with enough going on (arts/events), has to be safe , relatively affordable to live there and with spectacular scenery . I love how in Galway you can go to a play then be back to where you live in a boreen in 10 minutes …

As the very famous Donegal singer, Bridie Gallagher, used to say, many decades ago: There's one fair county in Ireland...County Armagh.

Although she hailed from Donegal, she lived most of her life in Belfast, but extolled the many virtues of the orchard county, Armagh.

Most of you will never have heard of Bridie, but at one time she was the most famous female singer in this fair land.
