"Personally I try and target the women without any standards. #gamechanger " I've noticed accepting a good core body temp as the lowest I'd go in my standards my chances of getting meets or replys has doubled

"Men often complain in status updates that they never get a reply to the messages they send. But if you look at their profile, it's blank, no pictures, non existent bio (eg. Fill in later) Do you want the feedback on how to improve your profile to get responses, or would that just annoy you more? " It's a tricky one...and I can't speak for most men on here..but I did find it vaguely annoying when first joined fab....women and couples with their big long list of criteria and requirements for a face pic in first message and code phrases to prove their profile had been read etc, etc. The naive newbie that I was would painstakingly garner all this together and send a nice intro message.....I could see it was read....and then 1 day would lead to 2 then a week until I realised I wasn't even going to get a " thanks but no thanks" So it does go both ways...there will be messers and people with poor manners in all walks of life. Here is no different. Of course some folks can't deal with rejection and I would suggest that fab is a great place to work on that As for feedback, it's always appreciated, however I'm happy enough with my own fab experiences so far.

"Unsolicited advice on my profile from someone who wasn't interested in me I would just find pretentious tbh" I think the “unsolicited” part of what you said is the lynchpin of this whole thread. Most guys in this thread (myself included) seem to have latched on to the “OP wants to give feedback” idea. Maybe she doesn’t want to give US feedback. Maybe there are guys that have messaged her that she wants to give feedback to. I think it would be a bad idea to give feedback where it hasn’t been asked for. While many would appreciate it, many wouldn’t. I understand that OP probably doesn’t want the job of Male Profile Reviewer for Fab, but if she wanted to give me feedback, I’d welcome it

" It doesn't really go both ways though. Due to the ratio of males on here you naturally end up with a lot of dickheads. It's been said on here lots of times, take no response as not interested. The reason being that a response of "no thanks" very often just brings on abuse and insults from those with fragile ego's, so many dont bother!

Fair point, I find it hard to get my head around why so many guys turn ugly at a little rejection. Like so many things in life....it ruins it for the rest of us. Happy fabbing

Its always welcome | |||

" People here only put up on their profiles what they want or are happy with,it's other people's choice if they want to engage with them but if there is absolutely nothing on their profile well then it's harder to have others engage with them , l suppose it's each to their own .

"Gents looking for feedback... there are umpteen thousand threads on here on how to improve your profile. It's your shop window. Ladies and couples want to get an idea of personality and humour. They want to know what it is you're looking for and what you've got to offer. If your profile doesn't catch the eye, the chances are your message won't either because a lot of us click into the profile before even opening the message. If we can see that the profile looks incompatible (bare, no effort, no info, littered with poor quality pics etc), messages get deleted - so message and profile often go hand-in-hand. They generally want to get an idea of your body. Most of us ladies may not be as visual as you gents but we still appreciate good quality pics that show effort, originality and creativity, possibly a sense of humour. 20 dick pics littered through your profile are wasted on a lot of us (not necessarily all of us!) - we know what one looks like. There are plenty of men's profiles which may inspire. I know, I know, it may not be what you want to look at but feck it, if it helps with ideas on how you might be better able to sell yourself in the sea of men's profiles, it may just be worth the time and effort. Also, get yourselves to socials and check out the help a Fabber threads where there are lovely fellow Fabbers offering their precious time to meet for coffee - without any further expectations!" It's true , there are people who do want to meet for a coffee etc with no other hidden agenda.

"Just for the record I do not want to provide feedback on random men's profile (honestly, who has the time!) I'm just thinking about those status that get posted, you know the ones we have all seen at some point: "I'm leaving, not one reply, this place is sh*t" " I didn't mean you specifically OP it was an general answer to a general question. The guys that post status updates like that are the same ones that won't listen to any advice offered anyway in my experience. The same as the women who constantly post updates about being inundated with messages or abuse don't listen when advised about filters etc... There are people on fab who make it work for them and people on fab who just never will.
