They’re an interesting and complex type of thread .

I think at their simplest they can be a pleasant start for people who May not have the inclination or energy to engage in something more controversial at that time .

But occasionally I have seen a bit of competition arise as to who starts them first . There is also possibly an attempt at gaining legitimacy for the odd profile especially where there have been question marks about the profile dynamics/likelihood of trolling
