What provokes your patience and tolerance .

For me today in the moment is the car tax system is gone backwards, can't do it online anymore, can't do it over the phone. So it's slightly testing my tolerance lol.

The last few years I had to do it the old fashioned way here no online, I must say it's frustrating and was hoping someone could tell me why .

You may be doing something wrong then. I did mine online a couple of weeks ago and have done it online for years now.

Haven't paid car tax in person for years!

I'm relatively laid back. My patience/tolerance is generally lower when I'm premenstrual. More often than not, the children would be my trigger, or certainly the trigger that makes me reset... and I usually know straight away why I have "overreacted" in which case, I monitor my emotions and behaviour more closely because I don't want those close to me bearing the brunt of something they're not responsible for.

If driving, I'll curse at what annoys me, if anything electronic goes wrong, I'd be cursing and swearing away

Apparently I'm quite amusing when I'm angry

I think it's back online now just phoned , it brings my thoughts to how intolerant I am to the old way if doing things and how reliant I am on the new improved faster way .

No reflection on you but can you imagine whats its like when youre old and no experience of dealing with the internet

My dad is mid 80's and still rings up to pay for stuff over the phone using his credit card

I look after stuff online for him if a phone call is not an option

You can retrieve your pin online, no need for letter or email from them.

That's especially cuntish if the app doesn't work, as in the case of the AIB Authenticator.

Hunger!

My patience and tolerance is halved at least if Im hungry.

Queues, and being kept waiting in general, is something I get quickly impatient with

Don't get me started on that fucking AIB authenticator app. Drives me nuts. A simple text message would be way easier.

I eventually got them to switch off the necessity for the authentication on my card as it was unusable online. They said they'd contact me when they got the app working again. That was back at the start of the year and I haven't heard from them since.

The amusing part was that they tried telling me that it was my phone software that was the problem, ignoring the fact that everyone else was having the same issue.

Oh I know of course it has it's place but just speaking personally here sure it's only in the last few years I am getting the hang of it myself, so I definitely have empathy for the people who can't.

If you have a card linked to a business account you have to use the authenticator app. If it's a card attached to a personal account then you just use the normal AIB banking app to authenticate and it seems to work ok.
