Patterns. Mathematical patterns to crochet patterns, I see lines of numbers or words and in my head they move about and I can see the 3D shape it's supposed to be. The real party starts when you introduce colours.

Self doubt - even when it's quiet it's still there just waiting for an opportunity

The need to count EVERYTHING - even though the numbers don't always register, I'm counting. Slices of bread for the toaster, the number of pegs I use for each item on the washing line, how many times I stroke the cat, steps to the kitchen...you name it, I count it

"Why people always say borrowed from the lounge ,also how fit Carol vordeman is the older she gets. "

Fair point. Don't know why I keep saying borrowed. A little habit I picked up I guess.

And 100% about Carol Vorderman. She's 61 or 62 and she just keeps getting better looking.

"Questions like... How do dragons blow out candles. "

They suck the flame in.

I am wondering if I will ever get a mind bending, brain activity stopping ride again in my life? And if I do, will I get repeats? That's why I am here for, after all.

Recently had a session of reiki and the lady asked me after does my mind ever stop. Nope.

Lyrics to songs from the 90s. They seem to have invaded the space usually reserved for things like remembering how to spell my name etc

Definitely sounds like a racing brain alright I find training great for that , or studying and meditation/mindfulness. These keep the racing at a reasonably steady pace.
