Myself and the boss where out our back garden having a drink and a small bit off kissing nothing too serious just relaxing really when the kids where gone too bed so I heard the buzz and low and behold there was a drone cruising the back gardens off our neighborhood has anyone else noticed this it was low enough too see in plain sight you could actually see the recording light on it just gave it the finger and came in and closed the curtains what I would have given too have a cross bow or pellet gun

Don't think they have recording lights or a flash for taking pics.

That's terrible it happened to me once while sun bathing, it didn't put me off but still it's so annoying that people can just invade like this. It just doesn't feel right at all.

Can submit a report to the IAA if you believe a drone is being used inappropriately.

Amazon, Decathlon, I'm sure they're easy enough to purchase

They have lights in general i think its more as a visual recognition thing more than a recording light, but a pellet gun would be the very job if it was low enough.

Red and green usually for flight direction.

Red at the rear heading away from you and green to front facing you

Would want to be extremely accurate with a pellet gun, almost impossible with wind speed, aircraft speed etc.....shotgun alot easier

As far as I'm aware flying a drone over someones house is not illegal.. Nobody owns the airspace around their home, if it lands then yes its a problem so be careful shooting 1 down you might be buying someone a new drone otherwise.. I've seen videos of people flying drones over police stations and police are powerless because its perfectly legal to do..

Newry Down

The only effective way of taking down a drone is with a 12 bore shotgun; crims used to regularly use them to deliver drugs, phones and contraband into prisons, but netting and electronic countermeasures have stopped that, allegedly.
