What makes you feel attractive?

When others, especially women, give me a second glance and acknowledge my inherent attractiveness.

For a combination of reasons, when I was much younger I had no personal awareness of my intrinsic attractiveness, especially to females, although I was aware of elderly men who showed an abnormal interest in me!

The latter presented a problem on many occasions, especially at school, where one teacher, now recently deceased, was keen to be alone with me, in order to groom and sexually assault me.

Women of my own age were not openly attracted to me, only older men and women, of my parents' age who on occasions would expose themselves, their genitalia, to me.

So attractiveness has been a perplexing issue and a problem during my life.

This is is probably why I have formerly dressed down in order not to be an attraction to people.

It is not a problem as such, just something I had to do.

it's really horrible that you had to go through that. I hope the current generation never have to experience such abuse

It's quite complex. Some days...absolutely nothing. Others it's hair, make up & nails done, a summer glow and a cute dress. A gaze that lingers a little longer than is decent. A flirty conversation. When E absolutely devours me. But mostly it's confidence...if I'm feeling confident I feel attractive. And weirdly I felt at my most confident last weekend, literally stripped bare. I might have actually looked like fuck all squared but maaaaan I felt like a total goddess and that was purely down to confidence.

For myself as a male, it's simple things.

A hair cut, a fresh beard trim. A pressed shirt and slacks.

Smelling good nice aftershave. It doesn't have to be over the top or anything like that.

I've just found when I'm at my most confident is when I've done all of the above. I can look in the mirror and before I wonder what other people think I approve of my own appearance.

After that everything else just becomes easy

It probably sounds a little shallow, but for me if you feel good in yourself overall your attractiveness to other people will shine thus making you feel attractive in return.
