There used to be a small business in Belfast, that started in the 1980s and traded for a decade or more, that specialised on water beds, called Water Bed City.

Water beds are extremely comfortable, warm and supportive, but require a very strong floor because of the weight.

The most famous comedy TV sketch is an episode of Steptoe and Son (BBC) with June Whitfield which is probably available online.

Harold accidentally cuts a hole in the bed's lining.

My dog once tried to dig a hole in the bed; but was instantly detected and stopped!

Water beds require some maintenance and only ever buy a simple water bed, not one where there is internal foam to theoretically stop the water moving about. The foam is not needed.

Not fab or sex related but stayed in a hotel in Dublin with a friend, 2 single beds well a bed and a camper bed. We went out had a great night , came back to hotel got ourselves sorted for bed, my friend literally just lay down on the campbed and it turned on its side pinning her against the wall, her hand appeared holding her battered sausage and all I an hear " its ok I've got my sausage"
