Omg the price and quality of accommodation is mental at the moment

Can spend 3 night in a guesthouse in clare this week €100 euro a night, its a caravan

Hotels there is so little available

Prices vary from 400 upwards for a single person for 3 nights

It is ridiculous, you would get a holiday for that price. Hope you get sorted with something decent and not so expensive

Stayed in a 4 bedroom airbnb in Westport 3 weeks ago. €870 for the week split 7 ways. Although that was booked back in February.

Someone was telling me they were quoted 1,000.00 a night in the powercou t. Way over the top at the moment. Vat reduced to 9%

Its beyond a joke at this stage. Its like hotels dont want customers anymore. Rip off Ireland is alive and well

I'm enjoying 2 weeks of sun, no accommodation cost, free car and pool/lake on every corner. Family on the continent are simply great.

DD, you're better of catching a plane from knock and head to Spain or Portugal.

Looks like it, but could have done with 2 days of just disappearing but having to bring my work laptop with me

Flights from Knock and Shannon are now about 3times the cost of travelling from Dublin.

Holes aren’t available cause the wonderful government of this country has them All booked to accommodate refugees and immigrants… tried to book a hotel for ploughing championships in September and that is what I was told!! Closest hotel was just south of Sligo
