Has anyone ever used this site to book a hotel for use during the day? Hoping to organise a meet and get a room during the day.

yeah we use it for 3somes a lot.

You can get gorgeous rooms, especially in Jurys.

The only thing that bugs us is the “oh you’ve booked a DAY USE room?” EXTRA LOUD voice that the check in girls use

Limerick, Clare, Tipperary

Used it before, booked, payed-up, then arrived to the hotel, they haven't got a clue about the booking.

Got sorted at the end, but it was a bit awkward to say the least.

Next time, I'd ring the hotel directly.

We’ve had some gorgeous rooms there. And on Parnell st which we find is way more central.

Used it for rooms in Belfast and always been handy. I travel for work so use this as my excuse and it works well.

Airbnb is also good. I picked up a nice private log cabin for the day.

Private, quite and discreet

On site says reservations don't need credit card but you will need one on check in. So for some people who don't want hotels coming up on their credit cards statement it might not suit.

I used Dayuse in Belfast 2 weeks ago. Booked the Hampton by Hilton Belfast City Centre. £5 deposit on card then paid the £45 when I booked in - 9am to 4pm.

Couldn't fault it!

Got that before from some jumped up little sh!t at reception.

My reply to him infront of the 2 other female staff was...

Now my little squeaky voiced friend,if you actually keep your squeak to yourself, keep your head down, and work hard, maybe some day you will succeed in life.

But until then, you can give me my room key card, without the need to say anything else to me.

All he could then mumble was...your key card sir, enjoy your stay.

1 of the reception girls was smirking, and trying not to laugh behind his back.
