Several years ago, I went through a training period to be a call centre operator; I debeloped severe tinnitus in my ear because of the loud music when the calls were waiting for a new incoming enquiry.

In contacted the CEO of the company whom the call centre had been contracted to act to, to ask him if he could turn down the volume.

To cut a long story short, the call centre management went ballistic and I was asked to leave !
