Afternoon fabbers… and what a day it is too.

Heading out later doing some stand up paddle boarding. Have many of you tried it or are you into it?

Would love to hear

Depends on the paddle and the board, I guess?

I have a couple of inflatable paddleboards that I use mainly when there is no surf. Have brought one of them out surfing as well which was fun. Its a great all round workout

Somewhere in Co. Down

I would love to try it but think I would probably spend more time falling into the water than paddling

Did it a few years ago, enjoyed it but preferred sitting than standing, the fear of falling in was too much

Yeah the falling in is actually the best part

Well as long as you can swim that is. It’s a very relaxing time though once you get the hang of it. It’s actually easier than you think.

Done it a few times, loads of fun but a lot trickier to master than sit-in-kayaking. I spend most of my time ‘nearly getting the hang of it’ followed by falling
