No I don't. Because I'm am adult and I can take someone reading and not replying to mail. Which is the only reason I've ever seen given for deleting them

Nothing to do with it being unread, I dont care if do or don't, I'm just asking if the person receiving the messeges see that its deleted would they be bothered replying if they were interested,

I wouldn’t say you deleting your sent messages is why people aren’t replying…

To be fair it is extremely difficult managing your inbox when you’re a single male, I mean some weeks I’ve 2 messages!

Always delete sent messages after they've been read. Don't need to see them because as site supporters we see the whole mail thread anyway and I detest clutter.

You know they may have read it marked as unread and then deleted

I always assume that if a guy deletes a message after chatting, he’s attached and worried his other half will get into his inbox.

I believe if you delete the message, it's gone from the system and therefore no one can read it anymore.

I wanted to look at some recent messages exchanged with someone as there was some relevant info, but it looks like they deleted it, so it wasn't there anymore for me to read.

I also once put a message on unread because I wanted to reply but was super busy and when I finally had time the message was gone.

Messages you delete don't delete on the other person's side .It's just on yours.

If they dissappear completely it usually means the person has left the site.

The other person is still on the site though.
