Love when a straight lad wants to discretely explore and play without inhibition. Straight men used to have sex with other men in roman times. What's your opinions lads

Ok Ill be the first to say, don't worry about labels. Play with women if you want, play with men if you want. At the end of the day, sex is largely a physical act.

Do what you enjoy. And if you want to try something new, try it. Maybe you'll like it, maybe you wont.

Maybe I'm wrong, but strange how it's more accepting of a female to want to explore their bisexuality on here than males. There seems to be a lot more females and couples who explicitly state they will not meet bi/curious males, than males who won't meet bi/curious females.

Just an observation.

The Romans were actually very anti gay. You're thinking of the Greeks

There's no Latin equivalent for the words hetero and homosexuality. Sexuality was more about the role taken -

active/dominant/masculine and passive/submissive/feminine.

Hence sex between men was about power and dominance in Roman times, often using sl@ves, prodtitutes and entertainers.

Taking the passive or submissive role as a free man of higher standing was very much frowned upon.

So what do you do if you’re married!! Do you cheat, and continue, it tell that you want sex with others! In that case you lose the house, family, friends, anxx D.C. potentially hated by your kids.

Or do you just bottle it up and deal separately with the want. I’m currently on the latter.

Roman commanders would fuck the opposite commander if caught to exert their dominance and would have their lesser watch too. Roman baths where known to be complete orgies, where all was permitted. There is documentation that when Rome was falling that they insisted that anti gay writing was installed into the new bible to try and stabilise society.

I think that the time we spent in Covid gave people to consider more about themselves, their preferences and things that they want to explore more,

So go for it if it is what you want to do, dont look back.

This is actually incorrect. The Romans frowned upon it and really didn’t like it. It was the Greeks that had no issue with it.
