Thought Noel Gallagher was good yesterday, not impressed by Sir McCartney, somehow flat, in my opinion.

Would I go and pay to see any of those mentioned in the 1st post?

Depends on the price, but probably no. Seen U2 a few years ago, not impressed by them at all.

I am looking forward to Lorde, Years and Years are always entertaining.

Tonight is Pet Shop Boys for me

I've seen Paul McCartney live 3 times and he's amazing

Last night he blew every single headline act off the stage ever

He's 80....I don't think I'll ever get to see him live again but isn't it great to be alive at the same time as a musical genius that people will talk about for 100's of years ....

Oh don't get me wrong, he's a legend, though, Rolling Stones do lift the crowd and the last Glastonbury Killers were bloody amazing, one of the best live acts.

Love to see the killers but must agree with bog man a legend that we may never see the likes of again and I loved the tribute to Lennon as well

I always like to see the - to me - unknown bands and musicians. This year, Haim and Wet Leg were cool

Me too! Wet leg were great. Michael has been a great supporter of female artists though over the years also.

That's her style I think. The vocals are intimate/conversational.

Don't think the quality has been that high this year. Depsite being one of the great song writers and being 80, Paul Mccarthy could have put you to sleep. He was never a headliner

Decent BBC coverage and red button options though tbf

What festival? There's only one that mixes an unbelievable variety of both music and food in the world.

The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival. Also known as Jazzfest.

Look it up, save up and go!

You will never have a better festival experience anywhere else.

I've been twice and am thinking of how I can get to another one all the time.

Best music/food experience ever!
