Thinking about getting a hot tub. What's people's experience with buying one.

I have bought a few over the years.. lay z spa hot tubs.. they are ok.. be prepared to repair small pin holes and such over time. I have one at the moment. I will be our last one. Good fun but not ideal if you have to store it over the winter. Don't buy second hand.

Prob one of the best purchases Ive ever made, pull muscles the whole time and it shortens recovery, havent used it for fab purposes yet though

Would you like to rectify that?

Funnily enough i have being looking at argos and they seem reasonable enough at €500 and up all be it probally a short life span but the full fiberglass models dependable and longer lasting are running about 12k

I am interested in running costs if anyone would care to enlighten me

South Side.

Ive had a large Canadian hot tub for many years. The running costs are about €100 every two months, going by electricity bill.

some where near

A good fibreglass hot tub with a solid fuel heater options is the job

Bubbles hydro massage led lights

Takes about 2 hrs to heat up

Use scrap pallets and logs

To heat

Praobly 3500 plus for new

Don't see many for sale second hand

Great addition to you garden if it suits

Not for everyone as bit of work getting temp right and getting rid of the water as well

We fill Thursday or Friday let it off in garden on Monday

Plenty of scrap timber from work to fire it

Has been a great addition to the garden over the last 2 yrs

We love it
