Is there a kinky or dirty twist to the name.

My own is fairly simple. The nickname is Harry after me father and I tend to disappear off here after a run of a few months but always show back up. It’s been the same for 10 years.

So, uh, when I was a teen, me and my friends always made this sound "hoouu" when something was great. Over time, it developed into a synonym for sex (because that's one of the greatest things, right?

). "lernen" is the German word for "to learn" (I'm from Germany btw) and so houlern was learning how to have (better) sex – which in our young years was watching porn.

Fun fact you might not have known: the name Steppenwolf is originally a title of a novel by the German author Hermann Hesse. The rock band apparently liked his books quite a bit and named themselves after one of them.

Although everyone I've talked to that read them said they were rather boring
