Any naturists in the Thurles area?

Anyone know of a nice safe spot for nude sunbathing nearby?

I don’t think the General population of Ireland have come round to the idea of nudity in public yet

If my back garden was private, I wouldnt be looking for a spot.

If public nudity was acceptable in this prudish country, I would have no problem finding places.

If you a real-life measure of how naturists are still viewed in our societies, have a look at the online reaction to The Naked Rambler, Stephen Gough, as he unsuccessfully tried to walk from John O Groats to Lands End, during which he spent many years in prisons, especially in Scotland, which is renowned for its prudish puritanical attitudes, especially to nakedness.

I do not think attitudes here would be different.

Naturism would have to take place well away from public view; I have never heard of a naturist beach, north of the Irish border.

There's lots of places...just not many inland ....try the website of The Irish Naturist Association

The INA list the beaches that are used by naturists, not really local to Thurles though
