He took James Corden (ex Gavin and Stacey and current Late show presenter) up in his own plane,and then a jet plane.

Corden almost sh!t himself in both planes.

We saw it last night. Its Corny and its cheesey. I'm glad I saw it on the big screen as the dog fight scenes I enjoyed. Wouldn't normally be a Tom Cruise fan but he does look good in it.

As a lifelong fan of Top Gun and a fighter jet geek I think it would have been very difficult for Maverick to disappoint me. I loved every minute of it. Will never top the original but a great couple of hours escapism and will definitely go back and watch it again before it finishes in the cinema.
