More chance of getting struck by lightning - twice - than winning it

Better off saving your cash

The Lotto should be regarded as a form of taxation; your chances of winning anything are very remote; practically zero.

As I do agree with you…. Say that to the couple in the UK who won over €200,000,000 last week. Someone has to win it.

Not me. I haven't thrown away my money on the Lottery for, it must be, 20 years.

If you buy a ticket in the week for a Saturday draw... there is a much higher chance you'll be dead on Saturday than winning with that ticket.

Play it in Paddy Power, 60/1 if you pick 2 mumbers and 700/1 if you pick 3.

Ain't that the truth... People keep inviting me to join committees. I keep assuring them that they don't really want someone like me there

Odds are 1 in 10,737,573, though I guess you do have to do at least 2 lines when you play so that increases it slightly.

I play occassionally. Pick the same numbers when I do and haven't entered twice when I could have won around €1,000

We do only euro millions.

1 line quick pick...

8 draws costing €20 every 4 weeks

Since we start doing it 3 years back we have won

5250 + in prizes.

5k was the euro million draw

Was that match 4 + 2 Lucky Stars? That seems to be the closest to a 5k win. You had a chance of approx 1 in 600,000 of winning that.

You should keep going.. if you keep playing each week then you'll be due another 5k in about 11 thousand years.
