So, still new to the site and, especially, this forum.

Nonetheless, what I have noticed are the ever-lasting discussions about verifications and, almost, outright dismissal of those who, for whatever reason, don’t have, at least, one of those prodly displayed on their profiles.

I have seen some profiles, where the poster is saying that one man is enough, yet proudly displaying verifications from many blokes, containing graphic details of their encounters and blokes, which are way out of the age bracket on the profile…just one example, but there are many contradicting cases, similar to this one.

Me, personally, had two no-shows from people with ‘credentials’…

That makes me wonder, is it some sort of ‘verification snobbery’ going on here? As if, there is a bit of a line between the ‘cool’ guys with verification on and the ‘plebs’ without.

And are verifications way too overrated, in your opinion?

…and is presence of verification or lack of thereof deal-breaker for you?

I could never connect with some profiles . Once my veris started coming in i now get contacted . Because my bio and messages can be triangulated. Easy for a bio and messages to come across as all chat

I like the idea of verifying if someone is genuine, makes it a safer space. I don't like having to review your sexual acts though, I always try to be nice in verifications I give but I cringe writing them

There's a yay case and a no case for then but thsn again let's be honest NOONE is ever going to display a bad one. So take what you want from them

For me personally it can help me avoid some drama over whi they have met etc I think we all get different things from them put when it comes to the sex side I take them with a pinch of salt cayse sometimes your just not compatible with the person no matter how good of a ride someone else things he is.

Yes and no.

Personally we have had most nasty, entitled, forward, rude messages and most definitely most no shows (only two people ever showed up) all from unverified profiles.

Obviously there's decent newbies out there and tarring everyone with a same brush wouldn't be fair, but let's face it, a lot of people join this site because their mates told them about these mysterious orgies and everyone is putting out at a click of a button, so their expectations don't really meet the reality.

Verification to us only means that a person is more likely (not guaranteed) to show up to arranged meet, what kind of meets are they into and who they've met in the past.

Nothing less, nothing more.

About your mentioned contradictions - there are always exeptions to all rules and people have a right to sometimes find individuals who don't exactly fit their "looking for" brackets attractive for any reason.

And just because someone is looking for that special one - it doesn't mean that they won't come across 5, 10, 20 or more people who they will not see as "the one". Do you think people on tinder just meet one person and stick to them? Or people who go on a pull every Saturday night have less sex just because it's not written on their forehead? You'd be kidding yourself if you do

If you had no shows you can report them for that. I take all verifications with a pinch of salt as we have also been stood up by people with veris. Now we pay no attention to people who have coffee/social veris. Reasoning behind it is we have had far too many say oh id love to play with a couple its my ultimate fantasy, things are arranged and then poof vanished when it came to the day of the arranged meet. We have a young family, babysitters are hard to get and it requires planning so when were let down its a massive pain in the arse. So now if we do go looking for me we prefer men who have play meet veris from couples. Its not fail safe as they could still drop out but at least we know they are comfortable playing with a couple and are less likely to bail because they got scared of himself

I've seen that, but, he never mentioned why he couldn't make it. Someone said that he's Argentinian and so, personally, I would presume that he might not be allowed to drive/have no car/insurance waaaaay out of reach.

as for the verifications, there's another aspect I am noticing: 'we will meet only those who traveled for a ride'. As if, someone, who will travel, say up to Port Laoise from Limerick to get a coffee verification is less willing to travel, than someone, who's meeting in the same town - Dublin for example, taking into account benefits of public transport and population.

And maybe he just didn't want to meet that person, it's his decision better than making plans to meet and than not turning up.

I had a guy look to meet for coffee on the Friday evening at 5pm of the bank holiday, had agreed would travel 30 mins, not a word on the day, I messaged around lunchtime to ask were we still OK for meeting. No answer, If it had been a normal Friday I probably would have gone anyway and had a coffee and cake but this time I didn't, texted after 9pm wondering was it too late.

In fairness from my opinion I think you should wait and you will get a verification OP, no point in giving out about it, having a verification doesn't necessarily mean that you will be flooded with messages from women/couples. Yes it helps in some regards, but doesn't necessarily mean it will open the door to heaven... Running after a verification and giving out about it doesn't really paints you in a good picture, mind you I'm new to the site as well. Just wait and it will happen when least expected

There is, let’s say… if you can remember from your secondary school days a “Click” here who tend to blow smoke up each other’s …..

absolutely some verifications are overrated you just have to read between the lines and make up your own mind, if it would be comparable in the real world…. M to F Ratios here skew peoples thoughts.

I've reached out to plenty of unverified male female profiles and couples and I've been first verify for plenty of people here. They all had interesting profiles with effort put into pictures etc. They had spent time and effort on their profiles. A verify isn't going to have you knee deep in fanny though. Well verified people still struggle to meet as well. So my advice to people is don't stress if you haven't got a verify put some effort into your profile instead and stand out. It's ridiculous people coming onto forums after two weeks with one fuzzy photo sitting on the toilet with their cock out and a will fill in later one line bio moaning they can't get verify!

And read the profile before messaging a person and respect what they have put on their profile

When I got verified, she said that I was the only one in the area who looked at her profile and didn't messaged her(she had on her profile that she's not lookin to meet) and she messaged me , due to the fact that I respected what said on her profile, we started talkin, we had a meet in public, there was a kiss and some tease, and the next meet was in my place...so I suppose it depends a lot of how you are approaching things

Veris I take with a pinch of salt. They can be handy to see who to avoid because too much drama would be involved in meeting them.

But I don't put much stock in veris and just because someone has glowing veris it wouldn't sway me to meet them I just make up my own mind about people by chatting to them. It's very easy for someone to act all nice to get a Veri at a coffee meet or social and I have seen some who now have glowing veris from these who have been known to be not so nice (putting it mildly) when they have met people off previous profiles. So ye veris don't mean a lot. And they don't open the gates to sex on here either despite that being an excuse people use.

Fairly pointless really. Even I can manage to sit through a coffee meet and appear perfectly normal and pleasant. However that doesn't mean I'll be willing and/or able to do the same during a private meet.

The reality is people who ignore boundaries and consent don't do that for every single person they meet so it's never should be an indication that you will be safe or treated properly with that person.

A verification from my point of view simply tells me that she is a woman and within roughly 15 years of her stated age.

I've seen plenty that would definitely put me off though partly due to the content but mostly due to the authors.

It's usually obvious when someone uses the verification trail to further their own needs.

Meeting with and displaying veries from people they have slated in private.

Contacting,befriending and getting verified by other women on a guys profile to check out the competition and keep them close.

Lots of reasons to not rely on verifications alone.

I would not meet unverified people. While I understand some verifications can be over the top, they do show someone is genuine. There's to many time wasters on here that don't actually meet. Fie someone like myself where my time is precious, I like to make good use of it.

Getting verified is impossible for single male even if you been chatting with someone for a wile agree to meet they eather don't show up or they just stop replying to you there are some genuine male s out there for the genuine people on here and yes there so many time waster on here for sure

I accept that everyone has to start somewhere and someone gave me my first verification but the difference is that I didn't abuse that.

I won't meet or even chat to anyone who isn't verified because the last time I did that she took it upon herself to contact one of my friends and abuse them and tell them to back off and stop holding me back.

When I challenged her, she resorted to body shaming.

I've also seen people who have been removed from numerous chatgroups for predatory behaviour and following people home or using other people's homes for their open nefarious games reappear under different guises, usually coupled up and getting verified by the same people who kicked them out of the groups.

So either the verifiers have seriously poor memories or they have knowingly chosen to legitimise these people.

It's why I refuse to help out anyone looking for a verification.

You have an option, which will allow you to hide your friends list - as well, you can have verification overview, but not the verifications themselves published.

In my opinion - and I could read it the wrong way - some blokes do use verifications instead of measuring their 3rd legs in a roundabout way.

A sort of score marker and ego chasing in some cases.

Hence the question about certain verification snobbery in the topic.

I’ve chatted to a couple of guys who asked me for veris, even though we’d never met... And then they get pissy when I refuse. I appreciate it can be tricky to find people who will meet someone who isn’t verified, but they’d probably have better luck if they didn’t behave like entitled a-holes.

Definitely agree with the ego chasing... but what’s with “fake” veris, there’s one lady in particular that writes the exact same veri for everyone... what is the point. And it’s not just a general “nice guy blah blah blah” it’s very detailed and somewhat over the top graphic... I don’t get it

I have met straight/bi guy's on here and asked if they want to verify and they say no. One guy informed me just in case he met a lady on here and didn't want it public he had received oral from a man. Other's I have met don't want verification but are happy enough to receive them from and give them to TV/CD. It's a bit hypocritical that a straight guy will verify a man in a wig and a dress but not a normal gay guy who has just sucked his cock!!!

I totally understand that verified people don’t meet any unverified ones, but not even willing to talk back to them an dismiss them it’s kinda hard. Now in fairness Ive encountered some really nice people here willing to talk that for multiple reasons can’t meet. To all of them my love.

The real way to get ahead on here is to go to socials and events. Show your face, be yourself, be chatty, without being creepy and make friends.

The friends part is important. If it seems like a lot of work, it isn't.

A lot of people don't chat because even when they have told the person they aren't interested in meeting and then agree to chat the other person takes that as they will meet anyho,and gets pushy and stroppy when you won't. I don't bother chatting anymore for this exact reason especially after the last guy I chatted to for a small bit on here asked then to meet for coffee I pointed out that I already said I wasn't interested in meeting so got asked sure would I not meet for more . Wtf if I won't meet for coffee I certainly won't meet to fuck them. This happens quite regularly when you decide to just chat and they you get grief so I can't be bothered anymore .

It's nothing to do with ignoring those who are new or unveried but all to do with making my fab journey easier and less hassle from those who act nice but are far from it when they don't get what they want.

In the past I've met several people who have been unveried so I've nothing against those who aren't. I make up my own mind I never have nor ever will rely on veris on here.

I have no issue meeting unverified people if there’s a spark there. I’ve popped many a fab veri cherry in my time.

My decision to chat to someone is rarely anything to do with their lack of veris, it’s usually to do with their profile, their message or just not being arsed chatting to people I don’t know at that moment in time.

Don’t get so hung up on getting a veri, chat to people on the forum/chatrooms, get yourself known around the place and you’re way more likely to get the ride than a random veri that says you turned up for a coffee.
