Which is the only thing I look at when buying a car.

That and the colour

I can predict those who are about to dangerously swerve very close to me. Its either an old micra, or a new BMW.

Boringly ugly award goes to the Ford focus.

So many brands are built on the same framework with similar profiles and very few are unique anymore.

When someone gets rear ended these days it really is bumping uglies.

So many similarities to fab

Bought a Quashqi (spellcheck) new in 2015, the scrappage deal enticed me. Biggest mistake ever, it was in and out of the garage every other month with various electrical and mechanical issues for 3 years before I got rid. Would never go near Nissan again.

What, shocking statement Bog haha. I have two Honda civics in my day. One being a 94 hatchback which was absolutely a great car and then a few years later I had a 00 saloon. They were a mighty car. I think maybe you had to have owned one to know haha.

Since then I've had a couple of Audis, BMWs, Merc and a few others, all fairly fresh cars with all the usual luxury trimmings and I gotta say my absolute favorite was my Jag xf.

What I wouldn't like to have to drive would be a c class Merc or anything Renault

The old civics were nice in fairness but anything from the last few years are just ghetto blasters with 4 wheels

I think anytning French is hideous looking, last two good cars to come out of France was the Peugeot 405 and 406 was like going down the road on your granny’s sofa they were comfortable

Also I know I’m gona get abuse for this but why the hell is everyone hating the multipla… I think they are stunning looking and quite different lol

Lastly one car I can’t stand is fucking fiat 500s and stupid Ford fusions….

The prize for the most unattractive car of all time has been awarded on several occasions to the AMC Pacer, although mechanically it was very sound; Eastern bloc cars from the 1980s, such as the Wartburg with a two-stroke engine, Polonez and Moskva were abysmal.

Phalically, the most attractive car was the E type Jaguar, but not the later versions which were over-engineered.

The best, most innovative, car of all time was the Citroen DS 23 or 21, or the incredible SM.

Another incredibly bad, unattractive, car was the Ford Edsel, named after Henry Ford's son, whom Henry detested. The car was one of the most catastrophic failures in car manufacturing history.

Have a look at the AMC Pacer online; truly awful!

As someone who is currently involving in restoring a late 90’s and a mid 00 Toyota, a number of things are very apparent

.

There is much less metal in modern cars and more electronics, no proper undersealing, you cannot do much yourself any more in regard to changing plugs before attaching a computer.

Funny to notice the Fiat Mulipla and Civic was mentioned, never did like the multipla, also if you look at the original 90’s civic and a modern one, you will the increase in overall size.

There is a distinct design between Honda and Toyota, but nowadays cars are built by others, for example the latest iteration of my believed starlet is a rebadged Suzuki Baleno, targeted at the South Africa and Indian Markets,

"Toyota Corolla. Really bland, dated dull and boring like a pair of your fathers brown slip on shoes. "

For decades it was rightly regarded as, by far, the most reliable car in the world; and thus very cheap to run.

Middle of mayo n peaceful tranquility

Any Seven seaters and before anyone leaps to the MPV defence

I have one and I can’t wait for the day I can trade it in for something else more unfamily suitable .

Passion killers only things that can make them worse is numerous car seats or those personalised match stick stickers of the family inside
