I have guys labelled straight bi and gay contacting me for sex. I politely decline saying that i wish I was bi because it would be so much easier to get sex if i did but sadly guys just dont do it for me.

I dont feel the need to be smug and I certainly dont need the feed to post about them been "fake". They are apparently offering to meet you for real. Dosent sound fake to me, merely bad labelling

Think its a bit ott to label such people as fake, this site and lifestyle obviously provokes alot of curiousities so whilst someone may have came here straight they are now more openminded however there is a stigma attached to being gay with many fem/couples actively stating no bi men so I can see the reluctance for guys to label themselves as such.

Of course there is the ol adage, any port in a storm- can't get a couple so may as well get someone to suck my cock!

He never admitted he was wrong just merely that he may have used the wrong wording in his post. Fake was the word he used but I totally understood what he was saying. Misleading might have been better to use than fake. Isn't it very misleading to state you are straight on your profile when you are actively seeking sex with other men. I didn't find him smug or braggin that men want to meet him. I actually agreed with everything the op was getting at. A very valid point I think.

Tiny, that was very eloquently stated, I agree with your interpretation.

I do think however there are a few categories of these 'mislead' people:

1. Those who struggle to understand their own sexuality and are still trying to figure it out and aren't ready to change their orientation yet.

2. Those who realize they have tendenacies but won't admit it whether because of social, religious or other pressures

3. Dumbasses that don't know they are hitting up someone of the same gender

4. People who have just had a sudden urge to play with the same sex.

5. People like myself with impulse control and just like good sex.

6. All others not in 1 thru 5

Totally agreed westbiguy. I think it's very difficult for some to come to terms with their sexual orientation and some struggle deeply with it, for whatever reason. I guess some don't like to be labeled either.

Some are here to explore different sides of their sexuality and feel fab is a discreet avenue to do so.

Although we all like to think we're sexually open minded I'm not sure as a nation we've come too far.

I think it would be nice to have a little more transparency tho. Just a thought.

Not really a fan of label fascism and don't fully subscribe to the school of thought that says sexuality is linear and monochromatic

TBH though their is however a stigma that surrounds bi males(which might explain their reluctance to be open)amongst straight couples who are by and large on this site bi-male-hesitant.

although it doesn't fully excuse them as openness and visibility is probably the only way the stigma can be eroded it offers up a possible explanation.

Yes i agree and of course there is also the most base of reasons is that it is known that being openly bisexual on the profile will affect their chances with meetings with a good percentage of couples.

Like some previous posters, I'm not a fan of strict categorizing and labeling. For instance;

I love having sex with women, therefore I am straight...

I'm not willing to meet a man for sex, therefore I'm not gay.

I am willing to meet a couple, but UNSURE how far I would go in the heat of the moment. Now, how do I label myself in that situation? Do I say I'm bi-curious, because I'm not really. I don't think about sex with men, but I know I'm very open minded (probably too much, if that's possible) and could envisage allowing a man to give me pleasure as long as there's a woman playing with us in some way. The mental leap whereby I am giving oral to a man, or receiving anal etc is a bridge too far for me (at the moment)

So if I say I'm 'Bi-curious,' then naturally I will receive mail from gay / bi men, and could not complain about it as that is reasonable given how I state my sexuality.

I don't want to waste a couple's time by saying I'm Bi and then bottling at the last moment, then I'm a time waster / fake, which is unfair.

Clearly the solution is to exchange honest messages with your proposed playmates in advance so there are reasonable expectations.
