Who in your opinion are not great singers but still rather successful ?

Everytime i hear read my mind by the killers I wonder how Brandon flowers made it so big. So so many flat notes and it’s a studio version !

somewhere

Whitney Houston was absolutely a voice created in a studio ....couldn't sing live to the same standard at all...saw her in the 80's in Wembley Arena ..spoke her way through her songs....by the time she played Dublin in 2010 well..it was just sad to watch her

She's known for extraordinary live performances and there's plenty of evidence out there. You might have been unlucky to see her on an off day in the 80'.

I came here to say Brandon Flowers!

But that's something i like about him. The first album was all auto tuned and polished. But by the second album after making it big, he just went ahead with his own crackling voice, and feck it if people don't like it.

Robbie Williams.

All smugness and swagger but sticks the mic out to the audience to help him out with the big notes...
