I've only played solo with a couple once so my experience is limited but I guess as the F half of a couple myself I can speak from that perspective too.

Every couple will have a different dynamic so be aware of what it is with each individual couple.

Talk beforehand so you all know what is OK and what's not before, during and after playing.

Read the room. Always. Is everyone happy and having fun? If you think anyone is feeling like a spare part, communicate.

Don't ignore or leave anyone out, and be aware that one half of the couple may be so enthusiastic about the new third person they might forget about their own partner. As above, read the room.

Ensure you're also getting what you want from the experience. Your desires aren't secondary to theirs. It's equally important that you all enjoy it.

Newry Down

Try to find out their own preferences beforehand and then size up the situation as best you can on arrival

As you have quite a lot of experience they may be depending on you to take the lead, at least in the early stages.

Be flexible; adjust as best you can to the vibe.
