Apart from reporting profiles who take your pics and post them on fab as their own, is there anything that can be done about it?

To prevent it you could consider using photo app to write your name on photo to deter people taking them

Mine were stolen few months ago and used on a fetish site. What the lady failed to realise was I was also on same site so my friends quickly told me. I messaged her Dom who immediately cut ties with her. Karma is a bitch sometimes!

Depends on how far you want to take it ...stalk them, bombard them with messages, get a PI, hunt them down...

But in all seriousness, probably not much else you can do...I've started plastering my profile name across most of our pics...for what it's worth...as I'm sure that can be edited out again too.

Everyone has to be aware that whatever you put into the public domain is fair game for abuse... unfortunately.

Watermark them in a place can't be cropped etc. Easiest solution

I messaged the person using them, told them I was flattered but p1ssed & asked them to stop using it. They apologised & took down my pics.

It's the only example I have & it worked for me

My entire bio word for word was copied and pasted on 3 different long established male profiles, one of whom has been here much longer than me and who was a regular forum poster.

They also took some of my pics and sent them in messages as their own without removing my name from them.

I would never have known if other fabbers hadn't contacted me about them and as all 3 blocked me I couldn't see their profiles or contact them.

They were reported by the other fabbers and became abusive in messages to them and status updates immediately after.

somewhere

Ive software on my phone that allows me to remove tattoos, watermarks and even jewellery from pictures on here and just leave naked skin

I just tried it on a profile .....it works so watermarking with your name doesn't work anymore

Thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated.

Its no biggy really, I won't be chasing them down or anything crazy! I'll try adding my name if I post another, see if that helps. It's just that it's a bit off putting really.

I'm remembering this for tech advice in future

This site is open to the general public and so its no more or less likely to see this behaviour than anywhere else.
